Management of Greensboro Coliseum Complex Concessions, Catering & Merchandise by Centerplate
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex transferred the management of the facility’s concessions, catering and merchandise operations to Centerplate, a Volume Services America company on December 24, 2003.
“This is one of the most historic moments in the 44-year history of this facility,” said Greensboro Coliseum managing director Matt Brown. “This is an unprecedented agreement in our industry and one that will be a tremendous benefit to the Coliseum from both a financial and operational perspective. Centerplate is one of the leaders in the food service industry with a proven track record of successfully operating concession and catering food services at major arenas, stadiums and convention centers throughout the country.”
